Correspondance with Authors and Editors

The memo featured to the left is referring to the copyediting I performed on the chapter "How to Make an Herbal Tincture."

In this memo, I detailed the revisions I suggested as well as explained the broader decisions I made. In order to complete this task, I kept my explanations clear and concise, knowing the managing editor would need to go through this content quickly. I adopted the language and jargon most used by editors and kept some of the more complimentary parts of a memo out due to the intended audience.

If interested in examples of my other communications with editors and authors, please email me and I will be happy to send you copies.
